What TweetDigger is
TweetDigger is a Chrome extension that replaces X’s right sidebar with research and growth tools. It runs in your browser while you use x.com / twitter.com.
Data we access
To search and rank public posts, the extension uses your existing logged-in X session (cookies / auth headers already present in the browser). It does not ask for your X password. Drafts, license keys, and the contact details you submit at first use are stored locally in Chrome storage on your device.
Contact details
Before you use the extension, we ask for your name, email, and phone number. These are stored in Chrome storage on your device and sent to the TweetDigger companion API so we can reach you about access, billing, and product updates. You can request deletion by emailing hello@tweetdigger.web.app.
Companion server
Optional features (AI remix, scheduling, billing activation) call a TweetDigger companion API you or we operate. Those requests may include post text you choose to remix, schedule payloads, contact details collected at first use, and the email you used at Stripe checkout to activate a paid plan. We also collect product usage events (for example installs, opens, searches, and AI actions) tied to an install ID and, after you submit the contact gate, to your contact details — so we can improve the product and reach you about access.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to checkout.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal data. We don’t scrape private DMs. We don’t use your session to post without a feature you explicitly trigger (e.g. scheduled publish with credentials you configure).
